The Ultimate Disney Addict Quiz.

   Well, hello there! I've been traveling all across the land handling important Princess stuff. But no worries, I'm back and I'm here to stay!
   While I was traveling, I came in contact with a girl who, much to my surprise, said that she was a Disney Addict, too. I was ecstatic to learn that someone shared the same obsession that I did. So, I started talking about the franchise, the parks, the movies, everything that every respectable Disney Addict should know. Her eyes glazed over.
   And it was then that I knew that she wasn't who she said she was. She was liar and a traitor and a not very nice person.

And so I looked at her with disdain.

   And I swore to myself that I would never go through that sufficiently awkward moment every again.

   So, I took it upon myself to make a quiz to find out if someone is a true Disney Addict or if they're just full of sh*t. Here are some questions to ask:

1. How many parks are there at Disney World?
2. What date did Disneyland open?
3. Which was first: Disney World or Disneyland?
4. Is Disneyland in Florida or California?
5. What's Donald Duck's middle name?
6. What are the height requirements to play a Disney Princess?
7. Is Elsa a queen or a princess?
8. What was the first Disney animated movie?
9. Who was the first Disney Princess?
10. Name all the Dwarfs. 
11. How old was Walt when he died?
12. Are there really secret tunnels under the Magic Kingdom?
13. How many lands are there in the Magic Kingdom?
14. How many ghosts are there in the Haunted Mansion?
15. Of all 4 parks in Disney World, which one was built second?
16. Which one was built last?
17. Like the castle, what iconic landmarks are in the other parks?
18. Give me an old Disney ride that's either shut down or refurbished into something different.
19. Can you stay in the Cinderella Castle?
20. Are there alcoholic beverages sold in Disney World?
21. What about Disneyland?
22. Do you need tickets for Downtown Disney?
23. How many countries are there in Epcot?
24. Do you know about the hidden ride in Epcot?
25. What's better: Disney World or Universal Studios?

That should weed out any impostures. Folks, people who say they're Disney Addicts when they clearly are not are negative people. We must stay away from them. If they get more than three wrong, they're liars.

10 of the Most Under Appreciated Disney Girls

   Hey there! I've been so busy with princess stuff that I haven't even had a chance to blog for a few days. But, no worries! I'm back!

   I've been doing a little thinking, and even though I'm a HUGE princess fan, I think there are some Disney ladies that aren't as appreciated as the princesses are. Here is my list of who I think is under appreciated. Tell me what you think! 

1. Giselle (Enchanted)

This lovely lady was thrown into real life without any idea on what to do and who to trust. I think we owe her a little appreciation! 

2. Charlotte La Bouff (Princess and the Frog)

 Sassy and southern! My kinda girl. She deserves props for being oh so fabulous! Plus, we all have a litte Lotte in us.

3. Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit)

Come on! What's not to love about this girl? Great boobs, awesome legs, sultry voice. I'm not even jealous....I'm not. Swear. Ok. I'm a little jealous.

4. Kida Nedakh (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)

Strong, powerful, but also pretty. Round of applause to her for being a woman with standards. Girl power!

5. Nani Pelakai (Lilo and Stitch)

Taking care of her little sister when their parents died? Can we say "huge responsibility?" Pat on the back for being such a great big sister.

6. Roxanne (A Goofy Movie)

Max's big crush! Sweet and charming and super understanding when Max flubbed up. Way to be, girl. 

7. Blue Fairy (Pinocchio)

Who needs a genie when you got this chick? (Sorry, Genie.) So sweet of her to grant Gepetto's wish. Thumbs up for being pretty AND nice.

8. Georgette (Oliver and Company)

Sure, she's a little, er, bitchy. But she turns out alright in the end. She's a diva, but who doesn't love attention?

9. Megara (Hercules)

Sassy, but with good intentions. She had the ability to ruin Herc's life, but chose the high road instead. And then they fell in love. Gahh! Adorable!

10. Esmerelda (Hunchback of Notre Dame) 

Fearless, independent, and caring. Befriending Quasimodo and fighting off that perv, Frollo. Props for being a good friend. And for standing up against that weirdo.

   I hope I didn't leave out any of your favorites, and I'll probably do another one in the distant future. But, for now, that was my rundown on the most under appreciated females in Disney.

All Hail the Magic Kingdom!

   I just read that the Magic Kingdom of Disney World is #1 on this list of most parks visited throughout Orlando...and the world, for that matter! Like, duh, we all knew that! And if you didn't, I have a list of facts as to why you should change your mind.

•    It's pretty much iconic. When you think of Disney, the first thing that comes to mind (at least for me) is the castle. And where is said castle located? I rest my case.

• Main St. USA is basically the friendliest street in the entire world. With smiles, songs, and smells all through the streets, it makes for a wonder shopping and seeing experience.

• It has 4 lands, one square, an Enchanted Forest, a circus, and a Main St. A freakin' circus, you say? Yes. A circus. Go ahead, be impressed.

• It's, like, the only place in the world where you can see 3 mountains in one day. Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain.

• Did I just hear you say you wanted to be a pirate? I did? There's a ride for that. BOOM.

• Wanna meet 999 ghosts in one place? You can.

• TURKEY LEGS.

• If drinking tea is more your thing, there's a ride for that, too. It's a little mad, though. Can't say I didn't warn you.

• If you want to fly over London and then fly over the Magic Kingdom, you can.

• Ever ridden an elephant? Ever ridden a FLYING elephant? Exactly.

• Meeting a real life mermaid and swimming under the sea is an everyday thing at the Magic Kingdom.

• You can meet real life princesses. And get a picture to prove it.

• There's no such thing as a bear who can play a banjo, you say? I beg to differ.

• Go deep into the jungle and see the most exotic animals known to man kind. You can also see the underside of a waterfall. 

• Channel your inner Tina Turner and go rollin' on the river.

• See all the Presidents in one place. Yes, even the dead ones. No, you don't have to make a trip to the cemetery. But, if you WANT to visit the cemetery, there's one across the road. 

• Need a hair cut? Go see the barber on Main St.

   I rest my case. Here's a gif of the magic to seal the deal.

Enabling Your Disney Addiction

   I'm having really bad Disney withdraws today. So, while I'm drinking tea out of my Cinderella souvenir mug, here are some things to enable to your (and my) Disney addiction.

   4. Go to a Disney store!
You heard me! Go to a Disney store and ease the pain a little bit. Buy yourself a stuffed Mickey or Minnie and you'll feel a lot better. I did this yesterday!

This helps me, too. I find some old pictures I have of prior Disney trips. Just being able to kind of relive those precious memories helps a ton. 


  6. Make a Disney board on Pinterest
I have one, and so should you! That's where I found Chip and Co. and also where I got the idea to make this blog. Make sure you follow other people's Disney Board, too. It helps!


  7. Pandora
Pandora has a Disney station. I listen to that quite frequently. It has the classics and the newer additions to the Disney song family. 


  I really hope these help. I know they help me, too. Just take a deep breath and you'll be back home soon enough. Just gotta have a little faith, trust, and pixie dust!

Live Action Movies of Our Beloved Classic Characters

   You read that right! As of right now, Disney plans on doing a live action of our favorite Disney princesses! One that I've already seen the trailer of when I went to go see Maleficent, and another that's rumored to happen! 

   According to a very good source, Beauty and the Beast is probably going to be live action! WHAT?! I know. Totally cool! All I'm concerned about at this point is that Angela Lansbury is playing Mrs. Potts again. Bill Condon, who was the director for Dreamgirls and Twilight is going to be directing this one. Let's all cross our fingers that this is definitely the case!

   Another surprise that some of you may or may not know, is that Disney released the trailer for Cinderella in live action. Now, the trailer isn't what you think it is, but when I saw it, I got goosebumps! Here's where you can watch it! It's supposed to be out in 2015, so I'm stoked!

   I'm so happy that Disney is deciding to do more live action spins on our favorite Disney classics. I can't wait to see what they're going to be like. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Beauty and the Beast!

Dooney and Bourke Disney Pattern Coming Soon!

   Good morning! I was on the computer listening to Disney Area Music, getting ready to get some breakfast and get ready for my day when all of a sudden I saw that Dooney and Bourke is now coming out with a Disney Cruise Line pattern. How aborbs! Here's a look at the totally nautical pattern:

   Cute, right?! I thought so, too. Here's the link to Chip and Co. for more information about where you can get it and when it'll be released! While you're there, you should check out what more Chip and Co. has on their site. As a Disney Addict, I appreciate the work they do to keep us up to date on all the new stuff happening around Disney!

I'm Boycotting Pinterest

   So, I was on Pinterest today, and like any respected Disney addict, I have a Disney board. I was scrolling through and looking at some pins my followers had pinned to their Disney boards and I was having a good ol' time. I went to the search options (food and drink, home decor, beauty, ect.) and looked, just like everyday, to see if they made Disney a search option. Of course, they didn't. But, today, it made me real mad! 

   I wasn't for sure why I was so furious, but I was! It could have been lack of coffee, the fact that I miss Prince Charming, or that I miss Disney World and I'm tired of waiting to go back, either way, I was seething.

   So, I made some valid points as to why us Disney Freaks should have a search option on Pinterest:

1. It's so much easier to find what we want, rather than manually typing it in and not getting what we were looking for.
2. The number of people we could get in contact with is astonishing! People just like us (Disney Fiends) pinning neat tips and tricks. Can you imagine?!
3. Disney would most likely make a killing off of this. 
4. More boards to follow to feed into our addiction
5. All of our favorite things all under one search option

   Comment and let me know what your opinion is on this whole thing! Am I just being overly dramatic? Or are there people out there like me who listens to Disney World Area Music on YouTube while I do work around the house or am I the only one? 

   In the meantime, I'm going to go pour myself some orange juice in my souvenir Mickey Mouse cup I got from Downtown Disney and pin some more Disney stuff.
